Post nasal drip: Her cough is probably due to a post nasal drip. During the day she can handle the secretions by sneezing or blowing her nose. At night she is lying flat in bed and the mucus drips down and iritates her respiratory tree. Elevate her mattress so she is sleeping on an angle and uses vaporizer for her.
