Post nasal drip: Your child may have a post nasal drip that is causing her to cough use a bulb syringe to suck up excess mucous, spray saline nose drops in her nose four times a day. Use a vaporizer where she sleeps.Elevate her mattress so she sleeps on an angle.. Rub vapo rub on her chest.
