Lumps and bumps: Any lump or bump you notice in the throat, head and neck region needs to be checked by your local ent. Lumps or masses are not normal.

Throat lump: There are many reasons that a lump would occur in your throat. I would want to be clear on whether this is a "lump" you can touch or if you sense it when you swallow or move your neck around. If you can feel a lump in your throat, particularly if it causes pain or discomfort when you swallow or move your neck, or difficulty breathing should prompt you to see an ENT as soon as possible.
