A member asked:

What can make your ears ring and it feels like they need to pop but can't?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Two answers: Your ears can ring due to medications, hearing loss, noise expsoure, damage from ear infections, and the list goes on. Your ear may need to pop if you cannot get adequate air into your ears due to allergies, cold, or sick ears. It can also be due to mild TMJ which puts pressure on your jaw joint which is literally millimeters from your eardrum. It can also be due to an inner ear problem.
