Too much: You may be getting too much sleep. Most recommend 8 - 9 hours. Studies are being done to see if too much is not helpful. Also, check your nutrition -- may not be all sleep related. Be sure you are well hydrated. Urine should be clear to light yellow.

Many possibilities: Make sure you don't have a metabolic problem: have your fp check thyroid, anemia, diabetes, or other explanations for fatigue. At your age, it would be rare, but you may need to be checked out for obstructive sleep apnea, especially if you have been told that you snore or stop breathing when you sleep. You could be depressed. Look for arrhythmia or lung problems. It's time to call for an appt.
