Fyi this is considered "cosmetic" by insurance and they are not likely to pay for any of it, so consider wisely before embarking a extended plan.

No: Wait until he grows older. Then see a pediatric dermatologist to make sure it is a birth mark or it is nevus. He will tell you the appropriate treatment which coulb surgery if it is small enough or laser in multiple sessions.Even with laser, it will not be completely earsed, just lightened.
