Peridontal disease: If your gum exhibits any bleeding spontaneously, roll round inflamed margin, or change into glossy texture, you probably has gingivitis. When this condition worsen due to poor oral hygiene, necrotizing or ulcerating condition may occur and this is known as anug (acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis). Unlike gingivitis, anug is very painful due to the gingival tissue becomes necrosis.
