No.: At 31 Y.O. You are probably health. A slightly low potassium may be due to your vomiting and the slight elevation in your white blood count may be due to the virus you picked up. If you are still not feeling well and the vomiting persist then you should follow-up with your doctor and get a repeat blood work.

Don't think so.: Vomiting can cause low potassium, particularly if you haven't been eating well during that time. Wouldn't say you were being blown off, especially if you are otherwise healthy, but it would be reasonable to have your blood work repeated by your doctor to confirm that the potassium has normalized.
