I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks that showed no heartbeat. hcg was at 50, 000. is it ok? doctor didn't seem too worried. go back in 1 week.

Depends: With a titer of 50, 000 it's good that a fetus is seen. A heartbeat should be visible however unless the ultrasound machine failed to produce the resolution needed. A vaginal ultrasound would have shown better detail or a repeat scan in a week is appropriate. Good luck & i hope all is well with your follow up visit.

Need to repeat US: In one week, at 7 weeks if it is normal have to see a htbeat, also a progestserone level would have been nice to do as a high one is reassuring and a low one is not.
