Calorie restriction: The only way anyone loses weight is to burn more calories than are eaten. Increasing activity will burn more calories, by far the most effective weight loss strategy is to decrease calorie intake - you just have to eat less calories. If you do have hypothyroidism, you may need to be treated with replacement medication. See your doctor.
