You decide: If you can compete in your favorite sport, you are not "too skinny" by scientific standards but probably have a light frame which is mostly good. The last thing an 18 year old needs is to start getting fat by eating more. I'm going to assume you don't have gluten enteropathy or some other malabsorption. Increasing your athletic efforts will let your body develop, look & feel even better.
