Yes and hopefully: It's typical for tmj\tmd pain and symptoms for vary in intensity, duration, frequency etc. For most people, it is related to stress and grinding\bruxism habits. As the stress varies, so do the symptoms. Discuss these issues with your own dentist. Feel better.

Probably: You did not mention if you are being treated for TMJ since your symptoms are going away, i believe you will gradually get better. If you are not being treated however, you should go for an exam by your dentist.

TMJ Symptoms: Tmj is a wide variety of conditions, not just a single thing. Many of the causes of TMJ do not go away easily if at all so there is no guarantee of what you can expect or the timetable for improvement other than averages and statistics. You may get well completely or you may not. Only treatment after a correct diagnosis can lead to knowing.
