Absolutely: Although research lags behind that in children, the available evidence suggests that adults with adhd show response patters and side effects quite similar to those seen in younger patients. If you are worried about taking a stimulant, there are nonstimulant alternatives that also work well such as atomoxetine and guanfacine.
