My family doc has been prescribing my adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) for 4 yrs hr said he can no longer prescribe iy as a family dr i have insurance only 1 day of med left?

Unusual.: Seems a little unusual to "cut you off" with no warning. Normally one would expect an orderly transfer of care or referral if the attending provider can no longer provide the care you seek. May want to consider discussing with the provider again / your insurance provider or even the state medical board if you think things are not right.
