Understand the cause: Identifying the cause of your anxiety is an important first step. Learning and understanding the source of your anxiety will allow you to exercise better control. Cognitive behavioral therapy also referred to as "psychoeducation" is the keystone of treatment and precedes the use of medication or at least is essential to effective management.

Panic attacks : There a # of ways to address anxiety: cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, psychotropic medications, qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, yoga, exercise program or progressive muscle relaxation (to mention a few). Talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ >.
