A member asked:

What can i do to up my calcium intake but not agitate my kidneys?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A high calcium diet: If you want to keep it simple a high calcium diet. If this is difficult to do, then calcium supplements would help. Not sure why calcium in general with "agitate" your kidneys, unless you are worried about stones. And if that's the case, if the stones are calcium oxalate, high calcium diet should sequester some of the oxalate in your GI tract and decrease your risk of them.
