Probably after: This is a question that can't be answered simply, but generally speaking, stretching after working out is currently accepted as a better practice. That's not to say that all stretching before an activity should be avoided. It depends on your body's response to stretching, whether you are treating or trying to prevent an injury and the activity itself. Either way, a good warm up is important.
