Good quesion: Sretch marks are not simply due to stretrching of the skin. They are actually metabolic in character(the skin is the largest organ in the body) and are invariably associated with "junk" diet. I have seen them in many people and they improve with appropriate diet but may become white and scarred.Look to your diet.
