Check your meds: Muscle twitches can be a common, benign finding in certain cases. For example, many students have experienced eyelid twitching from drinking too much coffee. Twitches can be made worse by certain medications, including opioids, which is given for knee surgery. If it's all over the body and not localized to your knees, you can probably just observe for improvement once off meds.
