Diagnosed with colitis in 2011..having first major issue..contraction like pain, back pain bloating diaharrea\constipation..will it go away on its own?

Unlikely...: Crohn's and colitis are chronic relapsing and remitting conditions for which there is no cure (except total procto-colectomy in colitis patients). Medications are used to treat colitis flares and also maintain remission. If you are indeed having a flare medication will be necessary. There are other conditions with overlapping symptoms however. I suggest you see a gastroenterologist.
