To help....: Stabilize bleeding. In women who do not ovulate, including those with pcos, the lining has continuous build from estrogen stimulation. As the lining continues to build (i refer to this as bricks)...You need mortar to stabilize the bricks or they'l crumple (ie bleed). Utovlan, a Progesterone (mortar), keeps the bricks together. Once you stop, all the bricks shed together to minimize bleeding.
