See your GYN: The situation you described is not going to kill you, however, you need consistent, ongoing care. Certain baseline laboratory work up, pelvic ultrasound, and perhaps even evaluation of your uterine lining if your GYN thinks this is necessary. Meanwhile, certain hormonal products may alleviate the situation, and yes until then iron pills are a good idea. Pregnancy must of course be ruled out.
