A member asked:

What is a biopsy result of reactive hyperplasia of lymph nodes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Benign: When an enlarged lymph node is biopsied or excised and the pathological diagnosis is reactive hyperplasia, it means the the node is reacting to a local infection or other inflammatory stimulus, but that there is no lymphoma or other cancer in the node. Good news!
