Localized allergy: Is one possibility. As long as it doesn't become systemic leading to anaphylaxis it isn't a severe risk but if it does include cardiovascular or breathing difficulties it can become a life threatening systemic allergic reaction. Many possibilities: There are a number of conditions that could be causing your symptoms. The only way to know for sure what it is and what can be done about it, is to see a general dentist or oral surgeon for a definitive diagnosis. Some conditions need to be treated early to avoid more serious complications.
