I have sore throat on one side, and sore gum and cheek on the same side. my mouth has also been sore all over. also seem to have clear dots on tongue.

Probably viral: This is probably a viral infection. When a virus infects it can invade multiple types of muscosal cells...gingiva, esophageal, tonsillar etc. Don't panic too much about the dots you see...the tongue is very vascular, colonized with every bacteria and fungus and has odd type cells if you look close enough. When it gets inflamed it can take quite abnormal and serious. Rest, fluids and time now.

Sore throat: May be strep throat so check it out today, Can be tooth infection, TMJ, or other mough infection. F/U with doctor /urgent care
