Many things, but...: A left kidney infection is possible if your symptoms are associated with fever or urinary symptoms. A kidney stone is another possibility and pain would be colicky. Intercostal neuralgias and shingles could cause symptoms more similar to what you describe.

Too General: Your symptoms are too generalized and do not point to any particular system. It could be anything from hypersensitivity of the skin to diseases of the nerves, kidney, lungs or abdominal organ conditions. Please see your pcp and discuss in detail.
