Don't stop yet: If one starts feeling better while on the anti-depressant medication, one should consider that one might be better because of the medication. Don't stop the medication, however, unless directed so by your physician.

Speak with your MD: The answer depends on many factors: 1) how many times have you been depressed in your life? 2) how severe was your last depression? 3) how long have you been feeling fine for? 4) are you totally feeling fine, or do you still have some symptoms such as problems sleeping? It's best to discuss these things with your physician, who can help you make a decision. Hope this answer helps.
