I take birth control for my pcos, does this mean i wont be getting my period monthly?

Not necessarily: If birth control you are taking is a monthly oral contraceptive pill (ocp), then most can expect to have a monthly period induced by the placebo week included in most oral contraceptive pills. The same can be expected using contraceptive vaginal ring or patch. If ocp is taken continuously (some formulations) or by skipping the placebo week of the pill pack, then may avoid the withdrawal period.

Depends: If you are taking birth control pills you will probably have a period. There are birth control pills that are designed to make you not have any periods. Check with your doctor to see what kind you have been prescribed.
