Many things.: Depends upon what you mean by sob. Inability to breathe because of pain, true air hunger or none of the above? If pain with inspiration or true air hunger we should exclude the real serious things like mi, pe, pneumonia, pneumothorax - have basic labs, d- dimer, oximetry, cxr. Other studies depending on findings.
