You'll be ok: I'd like to know how long ago you struck your head. At a glance, your scalp is probably bruised. If you are worried about a skull fracture, it would take a great deal of kinetic energy to cause one. Intracranial hemorrhage or injury would be suggested by headache, lethargy, vomiting, and neurologic changes, which develop within 24 hrs of injury. Most linear fractures have no clinical significance.
