Benzodiazepine: For anxiety purposes i would prefer that you were taking an ssri or snri such as escitalopram or venlafaxine. Use of Klonopin (clonazepam) is best used on an as needed basis. I cannot say it will have any "permament" effect but there is abuse potential and a frequent potential to require increasing doses for desired effect.

Not necessarily: Depends on why dr put you on it. Many take this or more for yrs w/o problems, but it can be addictive (mentally and physically), so if you can work w/dr to no longer need, is best (don't abruptly stop on own).

Possibly: Klonopin (clonazepam) is used in the treatment of anxiety, panic, and seizure disorders. However like other benzos, it can be addictive and cause other undesirable side effects, including depression, withdrawal symptoms, etc. For anxiety and panic, best to also practice and transition to anxiety-reduction techniques like square breathing, tapping, and cbt. See a therapist for assistant with these approach.

Context is all: If you've been placed on klonipin thoughtfully, alternatives have been considered (by you and doc), the possible long term loss of efficacy examined -- no, it is extremely unlikely you will have any irreversible effects from this reasonable dose.
