Parotid Inflamation?: It is possible that you forced some air and saliva into the duct system of the parotid gland. Perhaps the refluxed material has incited some inflammation of the gland. If you notice pain or swelling between your ear and cheek you should be seen by a physician for possible treatment.

If you were very: forceful you may have inflated the Eustachian tube and or sinuses (maxillary/frontal) or more rarely a parotid duct. Consult with an ENT or your dentist.
