Tuberculosis: You generally acquire TB by inhalation of droplet nuclei (dried particles of moisture coughed up by somebody with active disease). To find out if you have been infected previously you can have a PPD skin test put on. If positive, you may have inactive tb, as many people in such environments do. If you have symptoms see a doctor asap.
