Anxiety treatment: Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (ssris) and serotonine reuptake inhibitors (snris) together with Pregabalin are actually considered by international guidelines as the first-line choice for generalized anxiety disorder (gad) treatment. However, 50% of gad patients have poor response to first-line treatments (buoli et al 2013) quetiapine seems to have the most robust evidence of efficacy.

YES: For generalized anxiety, ssri medications (e.g., paxil, (paroxetine) zoloft, etc.) can be used. These have a once-a-day dosing as opposed to valium, which is short-term and prescribed several times daily as needed for anxiety. Check dna metabolic pathway to determine best medicine for you. If you know the cause of anxiety, get behavioral therapy. If you don't , consider hypnotherapy or thought field therapy.
