Usually one week : It depends on many factors such as how deep they were, your age and general health and of course your pain tolerance. Many younger patients rebound in about two days but most are completely fine within one week. Be sure to keep the areas clean, gently rinse with warn salt water(1/2tsp salt per 8oz of water)and take your medications as prescribed. Try using advil (ibuprofen) in between the narcotic/tylenol med.
