Is it normal for a non smoker to get bronchitis 3 times in 2.5 months? i have had 2 rounds of antibiotics and we are waiting to see if i need more.

Acute Bronchitis: It is not abnormal. Viral bronchitis may last a few weeks to months. If you are exposed to another viral illness just as you are finishing the first, you are more likely to get sick. Bacterial infections can also follow the viral infections - mucous is a good culture medium. Antibiotics are often not the cure that people hope for - it does not treat secretions or viral infections.

Asthma: Would get checked to see if you have untreated asthmaic brochitis. Antibiotics will not help this.
