Re-do: Unfortunately it means you do not have a clear answer off that test. That could be due to being just slightly too early for the test to accurately identify pregnancy (and hpt's are the same as used in dr's offices), or you might have gotten a bad test (uncommon), or an expiring test. Ideally, you should wait a few days, then re-test with a new kit (check expiration date before buying).
