A member asked:

Is it right that for those who have allergies and are taking antihistamines, the mucus will become thicker?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: First generation antihistamines have some antocholinergic properties that can thicken mucus. Second generation antihistamines not so much. Depends on what medication you are taking.
