A member asked:

Can antihistamines help reduce mucus flow to treat post-nasal drip, or do they just dry it up (thus making it thicker)?

Antihistamines: Would help the sneeze, the itchiness, and to a lesser extent the secretions. Mucous flow is generally due to inflammation, which can be due to allergies, viruses, irritants, etc..so the key in management is to reduce the inflammation of whatever reason. Proper assessment by an ENT / an Allergist is what you need, good luck
