Saline irrigation: Try saline irrigation to see if this helps. Mucinex (guaifenesin) may also be tried. Be sure however that you don't have a condition known as bile reflux (for which PPI would not work) or dry mouth (not enough salivary secretion from an autoimmune disorder or mouth-breathing).
