Not taking : Anti-anxiety medication can certainly cause problems as many of them have a short-term effect and the anxiety will re-surface quickly. Antidepressants, on the other hand, have a longer lifespan in the system and while it is not a good idea to skip a day, you should not feel it too much -- as long as you have been taking them for a while.

Possibly: Without knowing which medications you are referring to, it is not possible to truly answer your question. In some instances it may cause problems and in others it will not. Contact your doctor's office to find out what to do if you miss a dose.
