Possibly, or other: It may be from anesthesia, surgery, medication, or unrelated. Some people are sensitive to anesthesia and may be nauseated the next day - but that is uncommon. If you are prone to motion sickness or had abdominal or gynecologic surgery, that could increase the likelihood of nausea. Narcotic medications could also be the culprit. Call your surgeon or go to the er if you are very dehydrated!

Anesthesia: Nausea and vomiting post-operatively is multifactorial. Much will depend on the type of surgery you had, what post-op medications you are taking and the doses of such. Other comorbidities you have etc. Nausea more than 24 hours after most general anesthetics may well be due to other factors and should include a discussion with your surgeon and/or anesthesiologist.

Possibly: The nausea that can accompany general anesthesia is usually short acting and limiting. The continued nausea is usually due to any narcotic pain medications that you are taking. I would suggest calling your surgeon or anesthesiologist to discuss this.
