How has anesthesia changed specifically in the last 15 or so years?

Hasn't much: There have been few ground breaking developments in anesthesia over the past 15 years. The use of intravenous acetaminophen, indwelling pain pumps that infuse local an esthetics post operatively, long acting/ slow release opiates that are injected epidurally or in the operative joint would be some examples.
