Don't worry: Vaccines stimulate the immune system and can give some fever for 2 and maybe 3 days and can cause some malaise. If fever persists ove 3 days then see your doctor.

Get Him Checked: You should discuss with your Pediatrician as 40 Celcius is rather high temperature and even better get him checked by the Pediatrician asap It is not usual to run that high temp after 1 year shots which in USA are MMR and Varicella Get it checked
