Drug withdrawal: Amphetamines are drugs which cause physical dependence, and withdrawal symptoms when stopped abruptly. They effect heart and brain functions. If they are used for a period of time, they deplete the Dopamine of the brain causing hallucinations (voices, noises, visions, smells that are not real) delusions (paranoia, grandiosity) sleeping disorders (insomnia, night terrors, sleep walking).
