See below: Presume yo have been told the blood/serum creatinine id 1.7 this is a test for kidney function and needs to be converted to another parameter called GFR or glomerular filtration rate which is a better term to define kidney function. This GFR value between 0-90 is staged as stage 1 to stage 5, stage 5 being worse its a measure of how well your kidneys are eliminating waste.
