A member asked:

Is it common to be nauseous while having contractions @ 34 weeks or should i be concerned? 1st pregnancy, stopped procardia (nifedipine) 2 days ago for ptl

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Call your OBGYN NOW: Should not be nauseated necessarily and why did they stop it before 36-37 weeks unless u were having problems or it was not working ? If u are nauseated need to make sure your BP is not going up or that u do not have any other problems and if u don't anti- nausea meds can be given to u like zofran (ondansetron) - safe and it works so call your OB now and any further issues should be directed 1st to your OB !
