Any problems from taking 5 mg amlodipine @ 7 pm, and 10 mg simvastain @ 10 pm. how far can you space them a part to be safe from interactions. ?

Interact: The amlodipine can interact (delay) how Simvastatin is metabolized leading to higher blood levels and potentially side effects. This usually happens at higher doses of Simvastatin . My practice is to avoid using the two in combination. Speak with your doctor.

The issue: Is not the timing. Maximum dose of Simvastatin is 20mg while on amlodipine. 10mg should not be a problem.
