NO, useful for ALL: Perioprotect method is used every day for the rest of one's life to reduce the bacteria. I have patients with moderate depth periodontal pockets that have improved down to 1 and 2mm. It works for patients with gingivitis, periodontitis and for those who want to reduce bacteria to reduce the oral - systemic link. It may not completely resolve all, but often reduces full mouth surgery to less.

Wrong!: Perioprotect is an every-day-for-the-rest-of-of-your-life thing. Think of it as being similar to brushing and flossing. Just because you did it today does not prevent repopulation of the bacteria on and in between the teeth. Typically, you will treat more often/day when treating disease and less often (1 or 2 times/day) for maintaining health.
