Trauma therapy: You need to see a psychotherapist who deals with trauma, perhaps a somatic-oriented psychotherapist. Look in your area through psychotherapy websites where therapists describe their practices. It's important to process the underlying trauma so you can recover!

Not resp therapy : The problem you are describing is not usually treated by respiratory therapists. Respiratory therapists usually work with patients that have lung disease and need special treatments such as ventilators, nebulizers, or chest physiotherapy. It sounds like you would benefit from a psychotherapist.
